V5 and Windows 7

Hi,
I'm trying to install my software V5 in the new laptop which runs with Windows 7 64 bits and I'm getting troubles with controllers. Do you know if I need an update patch?

I remember there being some sort of "glitch" with version 5 and 64-bit computers. You might check the bernina international site http://www.bernina.com/news-n32-sEN.html and see if this helps. I think it involved a "dongle" upgrade from one of the updates.

There is also a very active Yahoo Group for our machines, and I remember several people found a solution to working with v.5 and 64-big computers. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/430_440_630_640_730/ You might like to join the group, and ask the question if you don't find it by searching the old messages at the group's home page.

I have the "light" Version 5 and I downloaded a patch when I upgraded to Windows 7. It took a little bit of "experimenting" but it now works beautifully.
