Yep. In that folder, click on the little icon at the top that says "change your view" when you point to it. It has a little triangle next to it. Then make it "TILES" and not details or something like that. The little preview icons should show for each design.

I have tried that, as well as the icons sm, med, large and still no luck. Thanks though!

Not sure why you can't see the design image by clicking on Thumbnail or Icons. What other problems are you having?

Rather than writing to support, call them M-F from 8AM to 5PM 888-223-6943. They work on installation and computer problems, not the software. But, maybe they can tell you if a setting is wrong or if you have the proper graphics card, etc.

Also, the Version 6 Yahoo group is a weath of information. You have to join but it's free.

That is a windows problem, not a bernina problem. It means it is not associating that file extension with the program. Just for grins, go to control panel, programs, default programs. They may take a minute to load so don't panic if you see nothing. Look at the extensions .art, .art42, .art50, and .art60. They should all show description of Bernina embroidery software design file and current default of Dsgnedit.exe. If they don't that's the problem. Click on the ones that don't and it will show you recommended programs for opening or you can find it. This assumes you have the Bernina software loaded! Lemme know if that doesn't work and we'll figure what is next!

I finally got someone to call me. His response: "Windows 7 doesn't allow you to see them only Vista does that" I have a few designs in another folder that I purchased and I am able to view them perfectly. But the files in the portfolio or my other designs I have saved I am not able to see :? I have my laptop starting up, I am going to try what you suggest. Thanks Molly!

edited to add: I went and looked and they all say what they are suppose to.

Hmmm. I don't think that is correct. But I will look into this.

Molly, I didn't find where you were directing me. :? But don't worry I will try again.

I have windows 7 and I can see the designs perfectly well so he is out of his gourd.

Control panel is on the right when you click the start button on the bottom.

Whew, at least I am not alone in thinking this! LOL

I am hoping to get off early from work one day this week and try calling the number you gave. I am just so confussed as to how I can see some that are in one folder, but not another, and not the ones that are in portfolio at all.
