JEP files

Postby nturner » Fri Mar 12, 2010 4:52 pm

I have a Bernina 200E machine and Designer Plus Version 5 software. I need to know how to embroider a logo that is a JPEG file. I see in the manual that you can sew JEPG files, but it doesn't explain how to do it. Can anyone out there help me?

A jpg is just a picture. It needs to be digitized and converted to an ART file that the 200E reads. That is what the Designer software does. Have you used it at all? It's a big difficult to explain here the entire process, but loosely you import the jpeg, either have it automatically digitize or do it manually, and save it as an art file. It is more complex than I am describing. Other option is to send it to people who do this. Is it a complex design?
