Private Messages and the Outbox - A Quirk Alert

Hi. I just wanted to let you know about a funky setting with the forum software program we are using. When you send a private message (PM) the message will show up in your Outbox folder. It would seem that your message would appear in your Sent folder but it does not, it goes directly to the Outbox. This catches people off-guard because it isn't intuitive and does not match most of our email programs delivery processes. Once the recipient opens the PM it will be move to your Sent folder. If you have messages in your Outbox it indicates to you that the recipient has not opened their mail.
Word to the wise: Do Not Delete the PMs in your Outbox. The recipient will never see your message. Thanks!
