I bought a 450 w/emb unit for a backup of my 200E. It is a wonderful machine. A true workhorse machine that is quiet and embroiders beautifully. I would purchase a 5.5 mm and straight stitch needle plate for the times when you want absolutely perfect stitches for topstitching and edge stitching. Sometimes when doing precise detail work, the 9 mm opening is too wide for such techniques. That is true on any 9mm machine.

Don't buy the embr or software on ebay (IMO). There will be instruction that you will want/need that comes free with the purchase from your Bernina dealer. This can be purchased at a later time, if desired. YOU WILL LOVE Version 6 software! Both levels (Editor Plus and Designer Plus) will autodigitize and include the Corel Essentials 4 program. D+ gives you more tools for digitizing.
