Hello everone! I am new to your forum and it will take me a little while to find my way around and see how you do things. My name is Rose, I have a Bernina 830 that I bought within the last few months but am just learning. I just managed last evening with the help of another list to upgrade my Artista software from ver3 to ver6. I am recovering from toxic exposure that caused some brain damage among other health issues and am relearning or shall I say trying to relearn many things in my life. I have always loved to sew and machine embroider. Before I got sick I had a Bernina 180 E, a Brother 4500, a Brother 180D, a Singer Featherweight and a Singer Treadle. The only machine that changed was I traded the Bernina 180 in for the 830. I have had my three guide classes on the 830 and will have two mastery classes in August. I am in awe of what all the machine can do. I have learned also how to take it apart to take thread issues out of it, i must say I am getting very good at taking the top front off of it!
I look forward to getting to know the members on here!

For someone who is working with recovery issues, you have a real challenge learning the 830.
I don't have that machine, but have seen the beautiful works that come from this marvelous machine. I am sure you will learn quickly and have a lot of fun with your new machine.
